Cervo è Poesia
CERVO | 04 June
Cervo is poetry
Choose a summer evening, light up the moon and the stars and come to Piazza dei Corallini , in Cervo, for a magical evening , that of Cervo is poetry , dedicated, for the first time, to two great poets of the twentieth century: Giuseppe Ungaretti and Eugenio Montale.
On Saturday 4 June, at 9.30 pm , the journalist and writer Antonio Caprarica will talk about a great love, the one that united Giuseppe Ungaretti with Bruna Bianco in Brazil . The Poet wrote 400 love letters for her, now collected in a book, Lettere a Bruna , published by Mondadori, which traces the stages of a secret, unconventional, overwhelming love that holds, until the end, with bated breath.
Cervo is poetry: Ungaretti's last love poem to Bruna Bianco becomes a song with Fabio Tessiore
Bruna Bianco , exclusively , will be present at the Cervo è poesia evening together with the composer and musician Fabio Tessiore , who transformed into a song the latest love poem dedicated by Giuseppe Ungaretti to his beloved, then published with the title Soliloquio . By the will of Ungaretti this poem has finally become music and for the first time in Cervo it will be possible to listen to it. A melody that will bring the audience back to South American atmospheres and the poet's magical meeting with Bruna Bianco in San Paolo, Brazil.
Cervo is poetry: one hundred years of Eugenio Montale's "Ossi di Cuttlefish" told by Stefano Petrocchi
Stefano Petrocchi , director of the Bellonci Foundation , oversaw the collection published by Sole 24 Ore, The masterpieces of the Strega Prize and in 2014 published the novel La Polveriera dedicated to the Strega Prize and its protagonists. Petrocchi is a profound connoisseur and lover of poetry, he has written essays on Pier Paolo Pasolini and Sandro Penna. Graduated in literature with the thesis Intertextual reading of Montale , in Cervo è poesia will tell the great poet Eugenio Montale , his ghosts and his unforgettable Ligurian landscapes. It will be a particularly significant intervention: in this year, in 2022, the hundred years since the publication in the magazine of Montale's first poems then merged into Ossi di Seppia occur.
